Research Labs
The Allen Research group has 2 laboratory spaces on the campus of the University of Florida. The main lab is located in Rhines Hall, room 142, and the cell culture lab is located in room 255.
Main Lab – Rhines Hall, 142
The main lab contains instrumentation for electrospinning, polymer synthesis, vacuum ovens, freeze dryer, microbalances, as well as instrumentation for reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (rt-PCR), and an embedding station and microtome for histological evaluations.

Cell Culture Facility – Rhines Hall, 255
The Allen Research Group cell culture facilities are housed in room 255. This lab contains the biosafety cabinet, double stacking Isotemp incubators, Nikon TE2000 inverted fluorescent microscope, refrigerated centrifuge, microfuge, Biotek plate reader (fluorescence and luminescence), parallel plate flow bioreactor w/ pump, water purification system, liquid nitrogen dewar, refrigerators and freezer
