Gantt completed his undergraduate studies this Spring 2020 in Biomedical Engineering. He participated in the Allen Research Group and was the Secretary for the UF Chapter of the Society For Biomaterials during 2019-2020.

Now, Gantt is heading to The George Washington University in the fall to pursue his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. He will be researching cardiac optogenetics and potential biomaterial applications in the field alongside Dr. Entcheva and her team in the Cardiac Optogenetics & Optical Imaging Research group.
