Congratulations to Dr. Allen and Dr. Moore for being awarded a research grant from the Space Research Initiative (SRI), entitled  “A 3D hydrogel model to assess endothelial cell-macrophage interactions in simulated microgravity”.  In this work, Drs. Allen and Moore will study the effects of simulated microgravity on important cell-cell interactions that govern vascular health.  This collaborative project sets a strong foundation for future work to better understand tissue regeneration and vascular health.
